Amy Malkoff -[lead and backing vocals & guitar]

Amy has an AB in music from Kenyon College with graduate studies at the New England Conservatory of Music. She is a singer, songwriter and guitar player. For 7 years, she was 1/2 of the duo Raymond Gonzalez & Amy Malkoff, and during that time they put out some full length recordings and were included on "When October Goes" (Rounder Records). In 1994, she founded the band Deadline Poet, which started out as an all-woman a cappella group, then a full band, and lastly a guitar/keyboard/vocal trio (the group disbanded in October of 2000). They are included on the Best of Boston Singer-Songwriters compilation CD, as well as their own recordings. She has traveled extensively with All About Buford, with the duo, and with the various incarnations of DP, and appeared as backup vocalist on numerous recordings. She has performed with the likes of Dar Williams, David Wilcox, Christine Lavin, Patty Larkin, Vance Gilbert, Jim Infantino (Jim's Big Ego), Ellis Paul, The House Jacks, Sean Altman, and Jonatha Brooke. Ryan Muldoon -[beatbox / looping]

Ryan has a BA in Sociology from UMass Boston and has recently entered the “real world” in hopes of following his passion for music. He started studying the saxophone in ’93 and enjoyed a successful run with the band Cardoza in the late 90’s/early 00’s as their saxophonist and back up vocalist. It was during a gig at the Cambridge (MA) House of Blues where he first beatboxed on stage and experienced the thrill of entertaining a crowd with just his mouth and a microphone. Since then, he’s been determined to work on his craft and spread the knowledge of vocal percussion as a respectable musical instrument. Inspired by artists like Rahzel, Kid Beyond and EachBox, he has developed a contemporary/urban/hip hop feel which enhances and colors AAB’s acoustic-eclectic sound. With his “emulate-not imitate” mentality, his goal is to demonstrate that vocal percussion is not an imitation of another instrument, but a respectable instrument in a class of its own. You can catch his solo stuff at www.myspace.com/ryanmuldoon MOVIE PICKS: O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Sin City, Tommy Boy, Vanilla Sky, The Departed, Into the Wild, Donnie Darko

Sarah Linebarger -[lead and backing vocals]

Sarah is a graduate of The University of the Arts with a BFA in Musical Theater. She recently parted ways with her rock band 722 whom she sang with for the past 5 years.  With them, she recorded two full-length albums and performed at many venues throughout the Philadelphia and New York area, such as CBGB's, The Knitting Factory, and the Trocadero. She also performed with them at the Century Park Music Festival in Shanghai China in the summer of 2005. During the past few years she also pursued a solo career by performing two solo cabarets at Philadelphia's Kimmel Center as well as lending her voice to multiple albums including some hip hop tracks on Arrakis Records. During her college years, she performed at the renowned Merriam Theater in the roles of Judy in "A Chorus Line" and Hildy in "On the Town".  Her TV credits include WGTV where she was the co-host of the music video show "TUNEZ", YMCTV where her band 722 will be featured on "City Sessions" New York, and also appeared as a featured dancer in a music video for The Marshall Tucker Band. Origivation Magazine said: "...the star is no doubt Sarah Linebarger's coy, confident, and precise voice. Ms. Linebarger has a pretty excellent sound and obvious, widely appealing talent..."
